Luther College has awarded the inaugural Joy Tlou Memorial Award to Mychal Shed ’23.

According to U.S. News and World Report, Luther College is ranked number two in the nation when it comes to the percentage of students who participate in study abroad programs.

Operating in 160 countries worldwide, the Fulbright Program is the largest and most esteemed exchange program sponsored by the U.S. government.

Four Luther College students were awarded Exceptional Representation awards at the annual conference.

Luther College’s Fall 2022 Dean’s List includes 652 students; 134 first-years, 124 sophomores, 170 juniors and 224 seniors.

Since the program’s inception in 2014, more than 80,000 pounds of food has been donated to local organizations to address hunger.

Aidan Brook ‘23 and Allison Hasenmiller ‘23 are working with The Humane Society of Northeast Iowa to identify factors and solutions related to the retention and recruitment of volunteer staff.
