Jaydan Clayton ’27 received the Kuh Family “Positively Luther” Award and Ellie Goble ’28 received the Krahn Family Student Life Service Award. 

Among these graduates that participated in Commencement, 22% were double majors and 20% were first-generation college students.

The Karen Julesberg Scholarship benefits first-generation students, income-eligible students and students with disabilities.

“These scholarship recipients exemplify resilience, determination, and commitment to service, community, and self,” said Jennifer Hanifl, Ed.D., director of TRIO Student Support Services.

Luther College is one of a select group of private liberal arts colleges in the United States with a chapter of Phi Beta Kappa.

“To be selected is humbling and a sign of trustworthiness and stewardship,” said Gideon Armah-Amissah, an economics major from Columbus, Georgia. 

Sophomore QQ Khamphinit will work with villagers and school children to establish a demonstration farm in Thailand.

Sea Orme, Edie Meehan, Katherine Griffin and Niamh Mee are members of Luther College’s Sigma Tau Delta chapter.

Several Luther College students will join Professor Davis for the four-week summer program.

As one of the oldest operating radio stations in Iowa, KWLC serves as a professional environment for Luther students to gain broadcasting experience.
