“Receiving [the Weston Noble Award] inspires me to keep improving my service to Luther College and to the world,” said Juan Tony Guzmán, director of the jazz program and professor of music at Luther College. “I was close to Mr. Noble since I came to the United States in 1988. Like many others, I benefited from his wisdom, generosity, kindness and humor.”
A keynote lecture exploring the intersections between the queer and disability communities will be held at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 29.

“These scholarships are more than financial support — they’re a recognition of our students’ resilience, leadership and academic excellence,” said Jennifer Hanifl, director of TRIO Student Support Services.
Luther College announced that 268 students graduated in the spring of 2025.
“In Megan Wilson, Luther College and Norse athletics has found a strategic leader that will make an immediate impact on the culture of excellence and achievement that we are building together,” President Brad Chamberlain said.
Since 2007, Luther students have initiated and led 24 different summer Projects for Peace programs globally.
