Operating in over 140 countries worldwide, Fulbright is the largest and most esteemed exchange program sponsored by the U.S. government.
The last time a Luther student received the award was 2021.
“Nordic Choir has an exciting program to share with audiences from Iowa City to Orlando,” said Andrew Last, associate professor of music and director of choral activities.
Nearly 570 students were named to Luther College’s Fall 2025 Dean’s List.
“Receiving [the Weston Noble Award] inspires me to keep improving my service to Luther College and to the world,” said Juan Tony Guzmán, director of the jazz program and professor of music at Luther College. “I was close to Mr. Noble since I came to the United States in 1988. Like many others, I benefited from his wisdom, generosity, kindness and humor.”
A keynote lecture exploring the intersections between the queer and disability communities will be held at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 29.
“This dashboard allows us to look at our sales history and make data-informed decisions,” said Meredith Burks of Seed Savers Exchange.
Remote sensing technology is a growing movement in archaeology to adopt non-invasive methods.
McGee also received the Kuh Family “Positively Luther” Award.
Every five years, TRIO programs across the country compete nationally for continued funding.
