The Concert Band last toured Japan in 2010 under the late Fred Nyline, its longtime director, and this year’s trip builds on that history.

The Luther admissions team reported that marketing is a program of “high interest” with students.

The “Called Outward: Exploring Skills for Faith-Based Leadership” program is funded through a two-year $40,000 grant from the Council of Independent Colleges’ Network for Vocation in Undergraduate Education.

Their papers examined an exciting array of works, from Virginia Woolf to Sudanese author Leila Aboulela to a popular HBO series.

Between 20 and 50 NICC students will have the opportunity to live on the third floor of Larsen Hall.

“My culture within the Luther women’s program will be built with the cornerstones of faith, family and fight,” Timmerman said.Â

These funds may be used for medical, dental or vision expenses, emergency travel expenses, textbooks or other course materials.

“I hope the greater Decorah community will take advantage of this month’s events, which are all related to meaningful human connection,” said Adrianna Tam, assistant professor of music and faculty advisor to ASAA.

“We are excited to welcome a veteran member of the Norwegian government to speak to our graduates,” said Luther College President Brad Chamberlain.

A $200,000 grant furthers the college’s commitment to the new and growing engineering science program.
