(If you are an international student, DO NOT apply here! Instead, please complete and submit the information highlighted in the Admissions Process for International Students.)
If you are a U.S. citizen or permanent resident, to complete your application the following items must be received:
- You may apply online for admission to Luther College using the Luther College Application for Admission or the Common Application. (International students should apply via the Common Application.)
- You can download a copy of Luther's paper application or a paper copy of the Common Application.
- Educator's reference
- Writing sample
- High school transcripts
- ACT/SAT score
Once all five pieces of the application are received, your file will be reviewed. You can expect to receive a decision within two weeks from the time your admissions file is complete.
Please note: Students planning to apply for mid-year admission should use the Luther application (not the Common Application) if applying after November 15.
Homeschooled students can click here to find detailed information about additional application requirements.
Luther College reviews applications for the next academic year on a rolling basis, beginning in September. There is no early decision date and no application deadline.
