The Career Center will support you in becoming self-sufficient in the career planning process. They can begin working with you as early as your first-year at Luther.

The Catalyze program is a collaborative effort between the non-profit organization, College Possible, and Luther College. The program utilizes near-peer (recent college graduate) coaches who work at Luther and support students as a resource for questions and concerns. Catalyze coaches use a structured curriculum to help students get the most out of their four years. They build a community of support focused on student success.

Luther College Counseling Service (LCCS) provides a safe, welcoming, and affirming environment for all students. Luther students have access to counseling services at no extra cost. All services are confidential.

Winneshiek Medical Center (WMC), part of the Mayo Clinic Health System, provides student health and athletic training services on campus. At the WMC Luther Clinic, Luther students can receive routine, preventative, acute, and ongoing care.

Services include but are not limited to:

  • Evaluation and treatment of acute illness and injury
  • Health physicals
  • Non-urgent health concerns like skin issues or sleep issues
  • Chronic disease management
  • Women’s health care
  • COVID-19 testing and vaccination
  • Sports medicine including specialists in concussion management and orthopedics

The Nancy K. Barry Writing Center is a resource available to all Luther students who seek assistance in writing.

Peer tutors work in one-on-one sessions to help students with the following:

  • Paper assignments in all subject areas or courses
  • Presentation notes
  • Technical writing such as lab reports
  • Essay exam preparation
  • Scholarship or internship applications
  • Personal statements and letters for graduate and professional schools
  • Creative writing
  • Planning and organizing any of these projects: we will help at any stage in the writing process!

Every student at Luther has the opportunity to identify their strengths and how to best use them in all aspects of life.

Luther College provides Break Shuttle services for academic breaks. We are offering a shuttle to MSP (the Minnespolis/St. Paul Airport) with a small stop in Rochester, MN. There is also a return shuttle from MSP back to the Luther campus.

The TRIO Achievement Program at Luther College is designed to help first-generation and income-eligible Luther students adjust to, thrive in, and graduate from college.
