President’s Council and Legacy Trust Scholarship recognition events

Friday-Sunday, May 4-6, 2018

Each year Luther College recognizes members of the President’s Council and Legacy Trust with a special weekend campus event in the spring. Legacy Trust Scholarship donors and their student recipients are honored at a Saturday luncheon, and President’s Council donors are recognized at dinner Saturday evening. Donors may attend information sessions Saturday afternoon and enjoy various student-ensemble performances Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, or watch the Luther Norse compete.

Friday, May 4

7:30 p.m. Norsemen and Aurora concert, conducted by Mark Potvin '01 and Jennaya (Rogers) Robison '96 - Main Hall, Center for Faith and Life (CFL)

7:30 p.m.  Dance performance, Soil Turning, choreographed by Andrea Vazquez-Aguirre, Jewel Theatre, Center for the Arts (CFA)

Saturday, May 5

10:45 a.m.-4:00 p.m. Check-in, Main Lounge, Dahl Centennial Union

11:30 a.m. Legacy Trust Scholarship reception, Peace Dining Room

12:00 p.m. Legacy Trust Scholarship luncheon, Peace Dining Room

1:30-3:00 p.m. Theatre performance, Marie Antoinette, written by David Adjmi

2:00-3:00 p.m. Session 1:  The Scholars Program: Putting Luther on the Map -Mott-Borlaug Rooms, Dahl Centennial Union

3:00-4:00 p.m. Session 2: Inspired. Empowered. Engaged. Luther's New Strategic Plan Moves Forward —Mott Borlaug Rooms, Dahl Centennial Union

4:30 p.m. President’s Council recognition reception, Peace Dining Room

5:00 p.m. President's Council recognition dinner, Peace Dining Room

Sunday, May 6

10:00 a.m.-1:00 p.m. Peace brunch buffet, $14.50 per person,reservations are encouraged and seating is limited. Call 563.387.1514 to make reservations. Peace Dining Room, Dahl Centennial Union
