As its name suggests, the Center for the Arts (CFA) is the central hub on campus for a wide variety of artists and performers and home to the Visual and Performing Arts department.

The 60,000-square-foot center includes facilities for the Art, Dance, and Theatre, majors.
The Center for the Arts is located across from the Jenson-Noble Hall of Music and nearby Brandt Hall and Koren.
Features
- Art Studios
Various art studios are available to students including: north-facing drawing and painting studios, printmaking studio, clay studio, darkroom, woodshop, scene shop, costume shop, and green room. In addition, a digital media laboratory includes technology that supports video editing, graphic design, and 3D animation. - Theatre and Dance Studios
Theatre and Dance students have access to two studios to practice, rehearse, create, and perform. Studio I and Studio II house classes, faculty and student projects, individual research sessions, and performances. Maple wood floors and large windows result in abundant daylight and beautiful views. - Performance Spaces
Jewel Theatre is a flexible 225-seat performance space that allows for seating to be modified to meet the needs of a performance. Jewel Theatre houses three to four faculty-directed productions per year. In addition, Studio II can accommodate a variety of seating options and is equipped with lighting, sound, and video capabilities, making it a versatile performance option. - Scene and Costume Shops
The scene shop is equipped with a 18-foot-tall garage door between the shop and Jewel Theatre, which allows for scenery to be constructed in the shop and easily moved onto stage. The costume shop contains various equipment for designing and crafting costumes in addition to being located on the building’s second floor with north facing windows that let in natural light. - Wigley-Fleming Fine Arts Gallery
