The Center for Intercultural Engagement and Support offers Safe Zone training to build the community’s capacity to understand and work effectively with members of the LGBTQIA+ population. We partner with an outside organization, One Iowa, which provides the training. One Iowa is dedicated to improving the lives of LGBTQIA+ Iowans, including educating others about the LGBTQIA+ community. To attend a Safe Zone training, contact CIES at
