Software Requests

Employees should complete the Software Request Form before downloading, purchasing, or starting a free trial of any software—this step is required for security purposes.

The Software Request Form is designed for faculty and staff to request the purchase of software not already owned by Luther College, or upgrade of software Luther owns. When you fill out the form, you’re helping ITS protect your data, as well as our network and everyone connected to it. Please review our Technology Acquisition Policy.

If you are a Luther student interested in software, please contact the relevant office and have them complete the form on your behalf (e.g. if the software is for accessibility purposes, contact Disability Services).

When submitting the form, include as much information as possible. Your request will be processed by the Instructional Technology Team, and you will be contacted with their response.
