Jerry Lee, 1960

JERRY LEE of Seattle, passed away on June 28, 2011, at age 73. Jerry lived and worked in Seattle and in the Snohomish Co., Wash., area since 1968 teaching at the U of Washington, holding a joint position at the University Counseling Center and subsequently practicing as a psychologist in Everett until retiring in 2007. Jerry had a life long passion for sports, which led to youth coaching in recreation leagues in Seattle and South Snohomish Co. He played basketball himself until age 69. The highlight of his basketball life was playing in the World Master's games in Aarhus, Denmark, in 1989. Jerry is survived by his wife, Rita; and children, Christine Carr (Paul), Elizabeth McAmis (Wayne), Andrew Lee (Elaine) and Michael Lee; and grandchildren, Hazel, Catherine, Rachel, Hunter, Isabella and Evan Gerald. Celebration of his life was July 30, 2011, at Shoreline Unitarian Church in Shoreline, Wash.
