Emily Dirks performs Brudos Family Opera Prize Recital April 28

Emily Dirks, Luther College senior from Monticello, Iowa, is the 2017-18 recipient of the Alan R. and Sally J. Brudos Family Opera Prize. As part of the award, Dirks will perform a recital at 4 p.m. Saturday, April 28, in the Noble Recital Hall of the Jenson-Noble Hall of Music on the Luther campus. A reception will follow the performance. Both the recital and reception are open to the public with no charge for admission.

Luther's Collegiate Chorale to perform homecoming concert

The Luther College Collegiate Chorale will perform a homecoming concert at 7:30 p.m. Thursday, April 19, in the Center for Faith and Life on the Luther campus. The 2018 Collegiate Chorale tour program is titled "Prayers for Peace" and includes works by Kim André Arnesen, Moses Hogan, Craig Hella Johnson, Jake Runestad, Nancy Wertsch and more.

Luther College Concert Band to perform Homecoming Concert

The Luther College Concert Band, under the direction of Joan deAlbuquerque, will perform their homecoming concert at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday, April 10, at the Center for Faith and Life Main Hall. The concert is the culmination of the Concert Band's 2018 Midwest Tour.

Bring the Sing

Luther College to host Classical MPR's 'Bring the Sing' April 14

With a goal of forging community connections through song, members of the community are invited to take part in Classical Minnesota Public Radio's "Bring the Sing" series which will come to Luther College from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, April 14, in the Center for Faith and Life on Luther's campus. "Bring the Sing" is an open choral event for voices of all abilities junior high age and above.
