Important Dates
Thursday, August 21 – Last day to cancel CR/NC grading authorization for Summer Term classes
Friday, August 22 – Last day of Summer Term classes
Wednesday, September 3 – First day of Fall 2025 full-semester and 1st 7-weeks classes
Monday, September 8 – Last day or add or drop a 1st 7-weeks class; Last day to authorize CR/NC grading or AUDIT for 1st 7-weeks classes
Friday, September 12 – Last day to add or drop a full semester class; Last day to authorize CR/NC grading or AUDIT for full semester classes
As a part of the Luther community and as an extension of the Office of the Provost, we are responsible for:
- Carrying out the college policies concerning academic standards and requirements
- Evaluation of transfer credits
- Student registration
- Class scheduling
- Preparing and maintaining the academic record of each student enrolled at Luther College
- Providing students with services that support the academic mission of the College
Our services are based on the following principles: respect, confidentiality, collaboration, support, and accountability. Although our primary constituency consists of students currently pursuing a degree from Luther, we provide services to prospective and former students and graduates of the college.
Luther College has maintained accreditation by the Higher Learning Commission since 1915. In addition, individual programs within the college maintain accreditation through specialized agencies.
