Important Dates
Tuesday, March 3rd – Last day to withdraw from 1st 7 week classes with a ‘W’ grade
Friday, March 20th:
- End of first half of semester
- Last day of 1st 7 week classes
- Last day to cancel CR/No Credit authorization for 1st 7 week classes
Monday, March 30th:
- Second half of semester begins
- First day of 2nd 7 week classes
Thursday, April 2nd:
- Last day to add or drop 2nd 7 week classes (a ‘W’ grade appears on the transcript for each drop processed after this date)
- Last day to authorize CR/No Credit grading for a 2nd 7 week course
- Last day to authorize audit status for a 2nd 7 week course
Thursday, April 9th – Last day to withdraw from full-term classes with a ‘W’ grade
Tuesday, April 28th – Last day to withdraw from 2nd 7 week classes with a ‘W’ grade
Friday, May 15th:
- Last day of classes
- Last day to cancel CR/No Credit authorization
May 18th-21st –Â Final examinations
As a part of the Luther community and as an extension of the Office of the Provost, we are responsible for:
- Carrying out the college policies concerning academic standards and requirements
- Evaluation of transfer credits
- Student registration
- Class scheduling
- Preparing and maintaining the academic record of each student enrolled at Luther College
- Providing students with services that support the academic mission of the College
Our services are based on the following principles: respect, confidentiality, collaboration, support, and accountability. Although our primary constituency consists of students currently pursuing a degree from Luther, we provide services to prospective and former students and graduates of the college.
Luther College has maintained accreditation by the Higher Learning Commission since 1915. In addition, individual programs within the college maintain accreditation through specialized agencies.
