Chris is a 2002 graduate of Trinity University (TX)  The 2026 season will be Chris’ 19th year as head coach.

During his tenure, he has led the Norse to an overall record of 187-91-42 that includes a mark of 78-34-14 in conference play. His teams have won four conference championships (2011, 2013, 2017, 2024); four conference tournament titles; and have made six appearances in the NCAA III National Tournament (2011- round of 16, 2013, 2016, 2018 – Elite 8, 2019 – Elite 8, 2022). Three times he has been named Regional Coach of the Year (2011, 2018, 2019).

His teams have also finished the year ranked nationally at No. 5 (2019); No. 8 (2018); No. 14 (2011); No. 22 (2013); and No. 23 (2016). He has coached six All-Americans, 59 all-conference honorees, nine conference Most Valuable Performers and 22 all-region performers. Four times his coaching staff has been named Conference Coaching Staff of the Year (2011, 2017, 2018, 2024).

Prior to Luther, he served as the assistant men’s soccer coach and recruiting coordinator at Trinity University. During this stretch Trinity made six NCAA III National Tournament appearances advancing to three semifinals, finishing as the national runner-up in 2007 and captured the national championship in 2003.

The 2025 season will be Hollie’s sixth year as head coach.

A 2015 graduate of Luther College, Hollie returned to Luther after serving three years as the assistant coach for the Boys U19 soccer team at Shattuck-St. Mary’s School in Faribault, Minn., where he played his high school career from 2008-11. Prior to his time at Shattuck-St. Mary’s, he was an assistant at Luther for three years.

While at Luther, he made 56 appearances that included 53 starts as a defender and was named all-conference and third team All-North Region. He  helped lead the Norse to a three year record of 41-15-4, a conference championship in 2013 and a NCAA III National Tournament appearance that same year.

2026 will be Julie’s 25th year coaching with Luther’s camp. She spent nearly 20 years assisting the men’s and women’s programs at Luther College. She also served as Head Coach for the Decorah High School Girls Team for 10 years, and 4 years as Head Coach for the Decorah High School Boys Team. She is a 2001 Luther grad, where she majored in political science and sociology, and minored in Scandinavian Studies. Julie lettered four years for the Norse women’s soccer team and played two seasons for the women’s rugby team. Julie has worked at Luther for 25 years in different capacities, currently serving the college as Senior Program Manager for the Center for Global Learning.
