Bishop Munib Younan, bishop emeritus of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in Jordan and the Holy Land, will spend Sept. 26-Oct. 1 in residency with Luther College and the Decorah community.

From now through Oct. 6, artist Christopher Cudworth ‘79 will be displaying a 40-piece solo exhibit in the Center for Faith and Life on the Luther College campus. The exhibition titled, "Road Trip" features acrylic, watercolor and pastel pieces inspired by Cudworth’s road trips across the Midwest, with many set in Decorah.

A Luther College tradition continues this year with the return of "Paideia Texts and Issues Lecture Series." Since 1983, Luther faculty have presented research from a variety of disciplines, centered on a common theme. This year the focus is on "Resistance and Resilience."

Experience "one of the finest displays of musicianship in the world." Luther College Center Stage Series presents: Russian Renaissance on Saturday, Sept. 28 at 7:30 p.m. in the Main Hall of the Center for Faith and Life.

The Passing Zone "Saves the World" will be presented at 7:30 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 14 in the Main Hall of the Center for Faith and Life. From the Tonight Show to America's Got Talent, Luther alumnus Jon Wee '88 and Owen Morse are the hilarious duo who take juggling to a surprisingly dangerous level in an effort to "save the world."

Luther received a STARS Gold rating from the Association for the Advancement of Sustainability in Higher Education. AASHE also ranked Luther in the top ten baccalaureate institutions in the U.S. in their “2019 Sustainable Campus Index†report.

Luther College President Jenifer K. Ward announced alumni Ann Leon and Corey Schmidt will join Luther College's Board of Regents.

Luther College presents the exhibit "RACE: Are We So Different?" as an educational opportunity and the kick-off event to a year-long conversation on racism. Experience the opening of the award-winning exhibit 5-6:30 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 10, in the Center for the Arts atrium on Luther's campus.
