Mychal Shed receives Luther College’s Jenson Medal

Luther College graduating senior Mychal Shed received the college’s Elizabeth A. and Paul G. Jenson Medal for the class of 2023. The medal is presented each year to an outstanding senior, selected by the graduating class, who best demonstrates the ideals of the college through service to students and the college community.

As long as no COVID-19 Indicators are activated when the fall semester begins, face masks and physical distancing on campus will not be required.

Participants will enjoy in-person presentations, readings and panel discussions with well-known writers on Sept. 24-25.

Nora Nyi Myint and Salomé Valdivieso-Santillán have been awarded the Kuh Family “Positively Luther†Award and the Krahn Family Student Life Service Award respectively.

The grant program provides funds to faculty members to develop free educational resources and brings down textbook costs for students.
