College Ministries at Luther

“What makes working with College Ministries a unique and delightful experience for me, is the recognition of all people as a people of God. As an ethnic minority and non-Lutheran Christian, it means a lot to me, and people of other minor groups, to serve in an environment where the gospel of inclusion is not only preached but also practiced.”
— Menzi Nkambule ‘18

College Ministries Mission Statement: In the spirit of Beloved community, we: Welcome everyone. Work for justice. Walk with students in their journey of faith and learning.

College Ministries welcomes everyone, regardless of their faith background.  We work for justice by getting involved in justice issues through advocacy both on and off campus.  Most importantly, we walk with students in their journey of faith and learning through accompaniment, both personally and through programmatic means.

You may connect with our leadership team for pastoral care by contacting interim College Pastor Mike Foss or Vicar Kathryn Thompson.

A College of the Church

College Ministries enriches Luther's partnership with the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America by serving as a link between the Luther community and congregations, pastors, youth directors, synods, and ELCA organizations.
