Handshake is a networking and job search tool available to students and alumni. Handshake lets employers and alumni post exclusive job and internship opportunities, just for Luther students and alumni. Handshake has apps for iOS and Android, as well as a website.

Accessing Handshake

Current students

Sign in at luther.joinhandshake.com with your Norse Key. If you can’t sign in, contact the Technology Help Desk.

Alumni

Alumni should use their personal email for Handshake rather than their Luther email address.

If you already have a Handshake account associated with your @luther.edu address, you should change it to a personal address in your Handshake settings.

If you’re creating a new account OR logging in with personal email , go to luther.joinhandshake.com and choose to “sign in with your email address”. Use your personal email address rather than your Luther email address.

If you can’t access your Handshake account, update your email address. You should be able to recover access using your updated email within 3 business days. If you’ve updated your information and still can’t sign in, contact the Career Center.
