Luther College in Decorah, Iowa, has announced the availability of three financially substantial scholarships aimed at encouraging students in the Lake Mills area to attend Luther.
The Glenn and Delia Bergland Scholarship is available to families served by Winnebago RTA or REA, past or present, who attend Luther. Preference is given to students planning on pursuing mathematics, physics, chemistry, biology or nursing majors at Luther.
The Arlo D. and Agnes K. Woolery Scholarship is intended for students from Lake Mills High School and the surrounding area who attend Luther. Preference is given to students with academic excellence, participation in extracurricular activities and leadership qualities. Additional preference is given to students who plan to study biology or mathematics at Luther.
The Solomonson-Gunderson Scholarship is available to Lake Mills High School graduates and graduates from any high school in Winnebago County, Iowa, with priority given to students intending on majoring in elementary education at Luther.
