When a young boy plans to throw a party for dragons, he is sure of one fact: dragons love tacos. Whether beef or pork, big or small, dragons delight in tacos of all kinds. However, he must beware that dragons' bellies cannot handle any drop of spicy salsa or hot sauce. Smoke could pour out of the dragons' ears, and fires may arise!
While energizing audiences with a silly storyline and teaching children about the importance of hospitality, Theatreworks USA presents "Dragons Love Tacos" at 10 a.m. and 12:30 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 30, in the Main Hall of the Center for Faith and Life on the Luther College campus.
The performance is recommended for children in kindergarten through fourth grade. Area schools have seating priority for school matinees; community members are welcome as space is available. Each show is approximately one hour in length.
Thanks to the support of donors and sponsors, tickets to community members are available one week prior to each performance for just $2. Tickets can be purchased through the Luther Ticket Office online http://www.tickets.luther.edu, by phone (563) 387-1357 or via email [email protected] Ticket Office hours are Monday, Wednesday and Friday, 9-10:30 a.m. and 11 a.m.-3 p.m.; Tuesday 9 a.m.-3 p.m.; with extended hours on Thursdays, 9 a.m.-7 p.m.
