Luther College is hosting a Creative Arts Visit Day for students interested in arts, dance and theatre on Friday, Oct 26.
Prospective students will be given the opportunity to participate in workshops with faculty in painting, graphic design, technical theatre, dance and acting. They will also take part in student-to-student panels with art, dance and theatre majors. There will be lunch in the cafeteria, as well as tours of the facilities and student art studios. Students will also get to learn about the visual communications major and musical theatre minor, the college's newest offerings.
Students will be given the opportunity to audition for dance and theatre scholarships or receive a portfolio review with art faculty as part of the Luther College Art Scholarship application.
Along with the tours and workshops that the students receive, parents will be able to participate in an admissions presentation and a tour of the Luther campus.
