Luther College celebrates Fall Community Day Sept. 22

 Luther College invites alumni, parents and friends of the college to join its annual Fall Community Day on Saturday, Sept. 22, for a full day of food, fellowship, fun and sports, beginning at 11:30 a.m. at Regents Center Circle Drive.

The event is sponsored by Decorah Bank and Trust in partnership with Luther College.

Registration is required to attend the picnic and can be completed at The combined price for the picnic and admission to the football game is $6.00 per adult; there is no cost for children.

Children can receive a free "game pass" Luther #1 foam hand which allows free admission to regular season Norse athletic events in the 2018-19 school year. Foam hands are also sponsored by the Decorah Bank and Trust.

The day begins with the Community Day Picnic at Regents Center Circle Drive at 11:30 a.m. catered by U-2 BBQ. At 1 p.m. Luther football faces the Loras College Duhawks for a home game on Legacy Field at Carlson Stadium.

Other home athletic events of the day include Luther women's golf who play in the Luther Invitational at the Oneota Golf and Country Club with tee-off at noon and Luther volleyball who face the College of St. Benedict in the Regents Center at 2 p.m.
