Luther College celebrates Mid-Winter Community Day Jan. 20

Area families and Luther College alumni, parents and friends of the college are invited to beat the winter blues during the 2018 Mid-Winter Community Day beginning at 2 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 20, in the Regents Center on the Luther College campus.

This event is sponsored by Decorah Bank and Trust in partnership with the Luther College Alumni Office.

Registration for the Mid-Winter Community Day pizza party is requested. Cost for the community pizza party is $2 per adult; there is no cost for children 18 and under.

Community Day starts with the women's basketball game against Loras College at 2 p.m. in the Regents Center.

The community pizza party features pizza from Mabe's and Happy Joe's and frozen custard from Culver's. Food will be served in the Regents Center North Gym from 3:30-5 p.m., from roughly the conclusion of the women's basketball game through halftime of the men's contest.

The day concludes with the men's basketball game against Loras College at 4 the Regents Center.

The Decorah Just for Kix dancers will perform at halftime of both the women's and men's basketball games.
