From small beginnings in Kokomo, Ind., Breaksk8 has amazed audiences around the globe with their unique style of dancing on wheels. The only dance crew on skates in MTV's hit show "America's Best Dance Crew,"the group competed against the top dance crews in the nation to become a household favorite.

Shannon Anthony and Jessy Nice established the group in Kokomo in late 2000. The duo added local skaters Jordan McQuiston and Tyson Neal as well as Lansing, Ill., native Tony Zane to become "Breaksk8 Entertainment Crew."

After performing at several high schools, the group started performing half-time shows for the AND1 competitive traveling basketball team and soon became the official skate team for the NBA, NCAA and WNBA, performing at games across the country.

On Sept. 19, 2005, Breaksk8 won the nationwide skate competition, "The Roll Bounce Skate Off" in Chicago, Ill.

In 2007 the group added their final member, Diamond Walker, and in January 2008 Breaksk8 competed on MTV's new show "America's Best Dance Crew." After the show, they went on an MTV nationwide tour with ABDC visiting 25 major cities throughout the United States.
