Weston Noble Alumni Choir

Noble alumni choir returns to Decorah

The Weston Noble Alumni Choir will gather in Decorah starting July 21 for its seventh reunion and concert. The choir, representing Luther classes from 1949 to 2001, will meet for four days of intense rehearsals culminating in a concert for the public at the college’s Center for Faith and Life at 8:30 p.m. Thursday, July 25 (immediately following opening ceremonies for Nordic Fest).

Luther Book Shop hosts 'Radically Open' book signing

The Luther College Book Shop will host a book signing for Robert Shedinger, Luther associate professor of religion, from noon to 1 p.m. Saturday, June 8. Shedinger will be on hand to sign his new book, "Radically Open," as well as his book "Was Jesus a Muslim?"

Luther College Hosts Iowa Prairie Conference July 18-20

Luther College will host the 14th Iowa Prairie Conference with the theme "Prairies on the Edge" July 18-20. This is the first time the conference, which moves to different sites in Iowa, will be held in northeast Iowa. The conference is open to anyone interested in prairies and is attended by a broad mix of prairie enthusiasts, educators, students, researchers and land managers.
