Well-Rounded Course Experience
In addition to an immersion experience and the language proficiency requirement, international business minors complete courses in accounting, economics, and management to help you learn about the many facets of today’s global economy.
What You’ll Learn
As an international business minor you’ll take three economics courses, including Principles of Economics. You will also take the Fundamentals of Accounting and International Business Management.
To set you up for success in a variety of settings you’ll need to fulfill language requirements. These requirements include a:
- Foreign language phonetics/conversation or business language course
- Foreign language course at the 300 level or above
- Language immersion experience
Careers and Outcomes
Many Luther international business minors begin their career path at major international, national, regional, and local businesses, as well as various government agencies. Other international business alumni pursue an advanced degree, either within their chosen discipline or at professional schools like law or business schools.
