Luther College is honored to present the Noble, Sperati, Presser and Hemp awards this 2019 Homecoming season.

From zero gravity athletic tape to holographic social aids, the ideas were flowing in Dahl Centennial Union at Luther College Thursday night when Destination Medical Center and Mayo Clinic piloted their Design Thinking Workshop.

The Luther College Center Stage Series presents Jayme Stone's Folklife at 7:30 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 12, in the Main Hall of the Center for Faith and Life.

The Luther College men's and women's soccer teams teamed up with the 2019 Soccer Vs. Cancer campaign to make a difference in the lives of those affected by pediatric brain tumors.
Luther College Alumni, Ethan Thonn '18 and Anneleise Frie '19, have both been awarded a graduate medical education scholarship through the Torrison and Williams Scholarship Program for the 2019-20 academic year.

Luther College received a $10,000 Mental Health Ministry grant from the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America. The goal of this grant is to address stigmas, grow awareness and teach the Luther and Decorah communities how to support those in need.

Robert Shedinger, professor of religion, will share his journey from being an advocate of Darwinian evolution to becoming a Darwinian skeptic in a lecture at 7 p.m. on Thursday, Oct. 3 in Olin Building Room 102.

Rebecca Traister, writer for the New York Magazine and contributing editor at Elle, will give the 2019 Farwell Distinguished Lecture at 7 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 10, in the Main Hall of the Center for Faith and Life.

Each year thousands of alumni and friends of Luther College come back to campus for the annual Homecoming celebration. This year Luther will celebrate Homecoming Thursday through Sunday, Oct. 3–6.

Luther College President Jenifer K. Ward is proud to announce the 2019 recipients of the Distinguished Service Award. This year's recipients are Michael Anderson '99, Karen Austad '64, Steven Berry '74, Jennifer Clark Nelson '94, Richard Staff '69, Carl Stecker '79 and Carol Tomer '79.
