Luther College has events planned throughout the month of February to encourage everyone to celebrate the work and achievements of people of color.

Susan Schmidt, Luther College assistant professor of social work, helps develop program to train people to become immigrant advocates.

Award-winning author and historian, Erika Lee, will present the virtual lecture "Xenophobia in America."

In honor of Martin Luther King Jr. Day, Performance Today, will feature a new work written by Brooke Joyce and performed by Unison Piano Duo.

The Luther College Music Department will provide musical learning opportunities to high school music students and their teachers.

Dr. Bettina L. Love, an author, activist and public speaker will give Luther College's 2021 Martin Luther King Jr. Day lecture at 4 p.m. on Monday, Jan. 18.

Luther College's SPIN Theatre Company and Shakespeare Society have come together to create a lighthearted moment this holiday season.

Fox 28 KFXA will air Luther College's "Christmas at Luther 2020: For Everyone Born" at 6-7 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 24, for viewers in eastern Iowa.
Classical Minnesota Public Radio will air the "Best of Christmas at Luther" at 7 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 13.

Brooke Joyce’s piece titled “He Hung His Head and Died (12 Variations for George Floyd)” will be premiered by the Unison Piano Duo at 12 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 16, on Iowa Public Radio’s Steinway Café.
