Best of “Christmas at Luther” to air on Classical MPR
As a continuation of Luther's annual Christmas at Luther celebration, Classical Minnesota Public Radio will air the "Best of Christmas at Luther" at 7 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 13.
The MPR program will feature treasured Christmas at Luther selections from the program's 2017 and 2018 performances. Music selections for the program were made by Andrew Last, Luther's director of choral activities and associate professor of music.
"Luther has a long history of great music during the Christmas season," said Last. "From Messiah to Juletide to Christmas at Luther, that tradition certainly continues. This compilation of music features performances from recent Christmas at Luther productions."
Classical MPR has aired Christmas at Luther performances annually over the past decade. More information on additional radio and television broadcasts of Luther's Christmas at Luther program can be found at https://www.luther.edu/music/christmas-at-lutherbroadcast/.
