Luther College Student Activities Council presents the Flamingo Ball

Luther College Student Activities Council invites the public to this year's SAC Flamingo Ball. Come celebrate and dance to the sounds of variety band The Sevilles at 9 p.m. homecoming Saturday, Oct. 17, in the Main Gym of the Regents Center on the Luther campus.

Tickets are $10 and may be purchased online at Patrons may also purchase tickets through the Luther Ticket Office, telephone (563) 387-1357 or [email protected], open Monday, Wednesday and Friday, 9-10:30 a.m. and 11 a.m.-3 p.m.; Tuesday, 9 a.m.-3 p.m.; with extended hours on Thursdays, 9 a.m.-7 p.m. Tickets are also available at the door on the night of the event.

The Sevilles have been nominated as Best Live Band multiple times by Minnesota Bride magazine's reader poll. They have entertained audiences all over the U.S. including at a national event where President Clinton was the guest speaker, they opened for the Temptations in concert and provided the entertainment for a private party for Mikhail Baryshnikov.

The Sevilles are known to come off stage and interact with the audience; starting conga lines and doing Motown choreography with the audience. They perform big hits from the 1940s to the present, which makes audiences of all ages get up and dance.
