Celebration of campus pastor Mike Blair's 25th anniversary of ordination to be held Sept. 24

A 25th anniversary of ordination celebration will be held Friday, Sept. 24, in honor of Luther College campus pastor Mike Blair from 11 a.m.-1 p.m. at Marty's in Dahl Centennial Union.

Refreshments will be served, and music will be performed by John Goodin, Luther associate professor, and Tom Bourcier, Luther instructor in music.

Bishop Steven Ullestad of the Northeastern Iowa Synod of the ELCA will preach in chapel prior to the reception on Friday, Sept. 24, at 10:30 a.m. in the Center for Faith and Life.   

Before becoming a Luther campus pastor in 1991, Blair was campus pastor at Augustana College, Rock Island, Ill., and associate pastor at First Lutheran Church in Freeport, Ill.

He holds the bachelor of arts degree in music and psychology from Augustana College and the master's degree in divinity from the Lutheran School of Theology at Chicago.
