American Rivers Conference Championships - Recap

Luther traveled to Lincoln, Neb. for the 2018 American Rivers Conference Championships. The Norse finished fourth posting a point total of 124. Wartburg College won the team title with 32 points, followed by Loras College (69) and host Nebraska Wesleyan University (91).

Individually, freshman Tom Altier earned all-conference honors by placing in the top-15 from the field of 175 runners that finished the 8K course. Altier placed 14th clocked at (27:09.3).

Completing the Norse five included junior Collin Kern (17th - 27:14.4), senior Alex Streitz (23rd - 27:36.5), sophomore Dan Iselin (43rd (34) - 28:14.1) and junior Nick Shaleen (46th (36) - 28:22.1).

Freshman Quenton Max (49th (38) - 28:28.1) and junior Colin Weber (52nd (41) - 28:32.8) finished sixth and seventh for the Norse respectively.

Two week from today Luther will travel to Waverly, Iowa for the NCAA III Central Regional. Wartburg College is hosting this year's national championships qualifying race. The men's race is scheduled to begin at Noon.
