Hear from the native Jamaican filmmaker, Joelle Powe, and the documentary participants who will be calling in from Kingston, Jamaica. Dr. Carolyn Cooper is the leading cultural scholar on Jamaica’s Dancehall. Kool Kid is an award-winning Dancehall Dancer. Choreographer, Latonya Style, has traveled to more than 40 countries teaching Jamaican culture. Sign onto Zoom for a rich discussion on classism, pigmentism, blackness, sexuality, and censorship in Jamaican arts.
