Luther became the first team in Iowa Conference history to captured a fourth IIAC Tournament title, defeating Coe 15-11 this afternoon in Cedar Rapids.

The Norse responded with seven runs on six hits in the top of the fourth, that proved to be the difference in the game. In this frame, Kelsey Rose hit a two-run home run to right field and three batters later, Katie Wieland hit a three-run shot over the left field fence. Kristen Winter put two more runs on the board in the fifth with a two-run blasts to left field.

Seven different players produced multiple hits, led by Rose who was 3-for-5 with four RBI. Wieland also drove in four runs going 2-for-4. Carli Radil and Winter were credited with two RBI each.

Annie Versnik (4-1) picked up the victory in relief, while Becca Girvan was credited with her third save of the season.
