Dr. Marques Garrett will lecture on anti-racism policies and curriculum in higher education music departments. Dr. Garrett is an assistant professor of music in choral activities at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln, where he conducts the Chamber Singers and University Chorale as well as teaches the graduate choral literature sequence. Dr. Garrett's research is in non-idiomatic choral music of Black composers.
