Odalis Valdivieso is a Venezuelan-American artist. Her works have been part in solo and group exhibitions such as Performing the self and other selves, Bass Museum of Art public windows; Nearly Contemporary, South Florida Art Center; Invisible, La Caja, Centro Cultural Chacao, Caracas; Arrhythmic Suite, MDC Museum of Art+Design; Paper Folding, Alejandra von Hartz Gallery and Dimensions Variable, Miami; The Sinking Parenthesis, Central Fine, Miami; This is not a Museum, Centro Cultural Español, Miami; among others. Valdivieso has created or contributed to community engaged projects such as Fall Semester, Talking Head Transmitters and The Nightclub. She is the recipient of the 2018 Brooklyn Library Residency Program, the 2016 WaveMaker Grant, the 2004 and 2014 South Florida Cultural Consortium Fellowship, as well as various Miami-Dade Community Grants. She currently lives and works in New York City and Miami.
