Sponsored by Center for Intercultural Engagement and Student Success
This year the Ethnic Arts Festival will attempt to combine its two events which have previously been separated: The Country Fair & Food and the Flag Procession & Performances.
At regents this year, the fair will still feature tables set up for students to present their cultures. Visitors will be provided with passports which could be stamped at every table they visit. However at the same time, there will be performances held in the space. At regular intervals, different performers will take to the stage throughout the fair.
It is the hope of the Center for Intercultural Engagement and Student Success that this format will allow everyone to experience all the features of the Ethnic Arts Festival.
Admission to the festival will be free but there will be tickets to purchase food from individual stalls. These tickets will cost $2.50. The CIES office encourages everyone to bring cash to the event as this will be the only way to purchase food tickets.
