Distinguished Lecture: Ibram X. Kendi

Ibram X. Kendi—award-winning historian, New York Times best-selling author, professor of history and international relations, and the founding director of the Antiracist Research and Policy Center at American University—will give the Humanities Distinguished Lecture as part of Black History Month and the Black Student Union’s 50th anniversary celebrations.

His talk will focus on topics discussed in his books The Black Campus Movement: Black Students and the Racial Reconstitution of Higher Education, 1965–1972 and Stamped from the Beginning: The Definitive History of Racist Ideas in America (National Book Award winner).
