The 2020 American Rivers Conference women's golf tournament is in the books. After three rounds on the Par 71 Ames Country Club Golf Course, Luther finished in third place. The Norse shot rounds of 335-342-334 for a 54-hole total of 1011.
The University of Dubuque won its second conference title in as many years carding a 961. The Spartans finished 13 strokes ahead of runner-up Wartburg College that finished at 974.
Morgan Kranz, the defending A-R-C champion, made a run in the final round posting the lowest score in the field with a 77. She finished as the tournament runner-up with a three-round total of 236. She finished one-stroke behind Dubuque's Daniela Miranda who was the tournament medalist with a 235.
Kranz, was the only Luther player to earn all-conference honors by finishing in the top-10 of the 36-player field. She joins Annie Stelow and Leanne Wagner as the only players in Luther women's golf history to earn all-conference honors four times. Kranz placed third in 2017, eighth in 2018 and was the conference champion in 2019.
Completing Luther's five and where they finished was Kelly Schultz (14th - 86-80-89-255), Aimee Hodges (17th - 89-87-86-262), Alexa Eichstadt (T18th - 84-92-90-266) and Maddy Wedmore (20th - 91-95-82-268).
