A Civic Sustainability Event: Partnering with our community to strengthen the "world house" we share.

Carbon pricing is a very effective way to reduce the combustion of fossil fuels, which are the leading cause of climate change. A crucial challenge of carbon pricing lies in keeping those least able to afford it from paying the most, known as "regressive impact."  Citizens Climate Lobby (CCL) seeks bipartisan solutions to climate change and champions a form of carbon pricing designed to combat regressive impact, called the Energy Innovation and Carbon Dividend Act. Join us as we address the social justice concerns of carbon pricing, and learn why the faith community is mobilizing to tackle climate change. Open to the public. Find the link at luther.edu/events.
