Luther Idol

Show off your singing skills as an individual student, a student group (max of 4), or a faculty/staff member during the cold month of January at Luther Idol in Marty’s! Wings and burgers will be available for purchase (kitchen closes at 9:30 p.m.).

Registration for participants is due January 8 by noon, and participants will be emailed the order of singers prior to the competition.

All prizes will be in the amount of dining dollars:
-The individual category will have a 1st, 2nd, and 3rd prize of $75, $50, and $25 in dining dollars respectively.
-The group prize will be $200 in dining dollars split amongst the group.
-The staff/faculty winner will be awarded $100 in dining dollars.

Judges will score based on the following criteria: vocal ability, range, dynamics, interpretation, stage presence, judge’s impression, and audience reaction. Descriptions on each criteria and more details about the event are within the Luther Idol Registration Form.
