Collaborative Art for Peace
As we mark the one-year anniversary of the current violence in the Middle East, we remember and lament violence and destruction in our world, and we commit ourselves to the constructive and creative work of hope and love. During chapel break/Fika on Monday, October 7, all are invited to paint a canvas heart that will be joined together with others into a collaborative art project. Visit the CFL steps between 10:15 and 11:00 a.m. to participate. Additional materials will be available throughout the day in the Office for College Ministries for those who want to participate at another time. Contact ministry@luther.edu for more information.
Chapel programming is also held each Wednesday, and Friday morning from 10:30-10:50 a.m. in the CFL Main Hall. A variety of speakers and musical ensembles from across traditions are featured in chapel services. All are welcome.
