Reunion Committees

These are reunions that we supersize! They include the 50-year, 40-year, 25-year, and 10-year reunions. A reunion committee, with support from Luther staff, plans the reunion activities, reaches out to classmates to share reunion details, and raises funds for the class gift.

Around 10–20 classmates.

The committee meets around five times in the year leading up to the reunion. Most or all of these will be one-hour meetings over Zoom, with follow-up work done independently. Much of the heavy lifting is done by the Luther reunion staff.

The central work of the reunion committee is reaching out to classmates to invite them to the reunion and to give to the reunion campaign. As such, committee members have a lot of control over the amount of time they commit when they chose the number of classmates they’d like to contact, and decide how to go about their outreach.

Please do not let uncertain plans keep you from serving on the committee if you’d like to be involved. We welcome your participation in the hopes you can join your class for the big weekend, and in the sure knowledge that your efforts planning and reaching out to classmates will make a difference for your class and for Luther!
