The User Services Team meets twice a month. The topics discussed at the most recent meeting include: Automated Patching, Library Open House, Summer 2014 Faculty Roll, Blu-Ray, Software Changes, Summer Student Workers, LIS Council Notes, and Categories for kbox.
Recently a major security vulnerability called Heartbleed was publicly announced.

Wireless networks are down across campus. Wired networks are working. LIS is working on fixing the problem.

V240 Lab Printer Update
The printer in Valders 240 has been upgraded to a different model to accommodate the higher volume of printing in that space.
There is now a presentation cart in Hovde. This may be used by those teaching or meeting in Hovde. It's also available for viewing by those considering furnishings for other classrooms and meetings spaces on campus. See the attached photo.
In preparation for the Summer 2014 Faculty Computer Roll, LIS is hosting three sessions that we encourage faculty and administrative assistants in the Division of Mathematics, Science, and Physical Education to attend.
