Faculty Artist Series: Luther's Beth Ray and Edwin Andereck to perform voice recital Oct. 12

Luther College's Beth Ray, associate professor of music, and Edwin Andereck, professor of music, will present a joint voice recital at 4 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 12, in the Noble Recital Hall of the Jenson-Noble Music Hall on the Luther campus.

The performance is open to the public with no charge for admission.

Ray, mezzo soprano, and Andereck, tenor, will perform a variety of music from 17th-century opera to 20th-century spirituals, by Monteverdi, Massenet, R. Strauss, Handel, Haydn and Mozart.

They will be joined by Luther faculty members, Jessica Paul, piano; Kathryn Reed, harpsichord; and Heather Armstrong, oboe.
