Luther professor Martin Klammer's book released in South Africa

Luther College professor Martin Klammer has co-authored a book with South African freedom movement activist Blanche La Guma. The book, "In the Dark with My Dress on Fire: My Life in Cape Town, London, Havana and Home Again," was published by Jacana Press, and released in South Africa Nov. 25, 2010.

Nobel Peace Prize Forum

Luther to host Nobel Peace Prize Forum on March 4-5

Luther College will host the 23rd annual Nobel Peace Prize Forum—a conference featuring presentations by Nobel Peace Prize laureates and other national and international leaders—March 4-5. The forum is the Norwegian Nobel Institute's only such program or academic affiliation outside Norway.

Luther's Mission Guatemala to host Family Winter Carnival Jan. 8

Luther College invites the Decorah community to the Mission Guatemala Family Winter Carnival on Saturday, Jan. 8 in the Regents Center on the Luther campus.  From 9 a.m.–noon, families can escape the winter cold with fun inflatable rides, a spinning apple and a super trampoline.
