Luther and Pulpit Rock Brewing Company have entered into a collaboration, where proceeds from designated craft beers will benefit the college. Pulpit Rock becomes the official craft beer of the college.

Surrounded by more than 90 prospective student-athletes and their families, Luther College current student-athletes broke a wall to mark the launch of construction on the $24 million Gerdin Fieldhouse for Athletics and Wellness.

Luther’s selection for membership in the FirstGen Forward Network was based on the college’s demonstrated commitment to improving experiences and advancing success for first-generation college students.Â

Kay Bronshteyn has joined Luther College as the director of Preus Library. A long-time library administrator with experience across a wide range of institutions, Bronshteyn comes to Decorah most recently from serving as the associate director for research and engagement at world-renowned Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University in Florida.

“As we approached the Board of Regents for approval of the final plans, we took the opportunity to think bigger,” said President Jenifer K. Ward.

There is extended time this year to complete paperwork for scholarships, which will substantially reduce the cost of going to college.

The receipt of one of the largest planned gift commitments in college history has lifted Luther College to its greatest single year of fund-raising.

President Jenifer K. Ward announced to the Luther College community today her intention to retire as president at the end of June 2025. Ward became president of Luther on July 1, 2019, and at the time of her retirement, she will have served in the role for six years.Â
