Luther College hosts Anthropology, Archaeology and Museum Studies Visit Day
Luther College is hosting an Anthropology, Archaeology and Museum Studies Visit Day Friday, Sept. 15. The day is designed to provide prospective students who are interested in anthropology, archaeology and museum studies with the opportunity to explore those programs at Luther.
Prospective students will engage in conversations with anthropology, archaeology and museum studies faculty about academics, research and study abroad opportunities. There will be ample opportunities for visiting students to interact with current Luther students studying anthropology, archaeology and museum studies through casual conversation over lunch and through interactive classroom experiences in archaeology and cultural anthropology.
In addition, the college will offer an in-depth tour of the anthropology lab where students assist in the documentation and preservation of Luther’s archaeological and ethnographic collections. Prospective students can also tour the campus and learn about the admissions process at Luther.
