I joined the mathematics faculty in 2017, following a career as an applied statistician in the pharmaceutical industry. I believe it is important to bring real-world experiences to the classroom. I strive to increase students’ statistical literacy to better understand the data we encounter throughout our lives. My professional interests include statistical education, multi-factor design of experiments, data visualization, Bayesian methods, and statistical applications in the physical sciences. My hobbies include carpentry and home remodeling, trumpet, bicycling, and knitting.
