The World Beloved: A Bluegrass Mass, with Nordic Choir and Guests Monroe Crossing

Join Nordic Choir and guests Monroe Crossing for a performance of Carol Barnett’s “The World Beloved: A Bluegrass Mass.” “The World Beloved” takes the sounds of a traditional choral mass and a lively bluegrass tune and then stitches them together to give the work its voice. Likewise, this performance will blend the sound of the Luther College Nordic Choir – rooted in the Lutheran choral tradition, and the unmistakable bluegrass twang of the Twin Cities-based Monroe Crossing. The performance will take place at 4:00 p.m. in the Center for Faith and Life on April 2, 2023.
